MINNA is a New York based home textile brand established in 2013 by Sara Berks. MINNA comes from Sara’s maternal grandmother’s middle name - dropped upon her arrival to the United States from Germany in 1940. Sara liked the story: nostalgic with a touch of rebellion.

The company creates ethically made, socially responsible goods rooted in traditional craft techniques for you and your home. We believe that contemporary design should not sacrifice social responsibility or quality and that our homes should be a reflection of our values.

Employing a cottage industry approach, they partner with master weavers and artisan collectives in Mexico, Guatemala, Uruguay, and Bolivia, which helps ensure craft preservation and job creation. Working collaboratively, they create multipurpose product; our patterns, colors, and textures that are meant to be mixed, matched, and layered for today’s modern home.
